Applications: be widely used in fence, burglarproof doors and windows, canopy, air conditioning rack fixation, home decoration, engineering, etc. 

The working principle of expansion screw:  Put the expansion screw into the ground or the hole on the wall and then tighten the nuts of the expansion bolt with wrench. The bolt goes outside while the metal sheath does not move. Thus the bigger head of the bolt will expand the metal sheath, making it fill the whole hole. Now, the expansion screw can not be pulled out. 

Installation methods: Select a chopping bit with the same diameter as expansion screw casing, and install it on the electric drill for punching. The depth of the hole should be equal to the length of the bolt. Then insert the expansion bolt set into the hole. 

Remember: Do not screw off the nut and prevent the bolt from falling into the hole when the drill is too deep. Tighten the nut for 2 to 3 buckles and unscrew the nut when expansion bolt is very tight without any looseness. Then the fixed items are mounted with perforated fixed part and installed aiming at bolt. The gasket or spring washer outside is used to screw the nut tightly.

Precision Brand® precut slotted shims are made from a 300 series stainless steel that resists rust and corrosion. Precut shims have tabs that makes shim placement easier and safer, while eliminating the need to place hands under the machinery during installation or removal of shim. Each 2 Inch x 2 Inch motor shim has a slot size of 16mm and can be used for bolt sizes up to a maximum of 5/8 Inch. Each shim is marked with thickness in metric. Precision Brand® slotted shim is the best way to solve alignment and leveling problems on motors, pumps, generators, and other plant machinery. Precut slotted shims are economical, safe, and accurate. Reduce labor costs by eliminating hand cutting and reduce downtime by eliminating shim preparation. 

Precut slotted shims save money. Precuts decrease time and labor costs and ultimately reduce machine downtime. Precuts also eliminate the work involved in the hand cutting, flattening and deburring of shim stock. Precision Brand Slotted Shim is made of a corrosive resistant, stainless steel. These shims are made with a tab which allows for safe and easy installation and removal.

Why are thickness tolerances so important?
