Ppg SigmaZinc 158 Inorganic Zinc Primer (sspc Level 2) Grey
Two-component moisture-curing zinc ethyl silicate primer for structural steel.
- Type/Finish: Two-component zinc ethyl silicate primer; impact and abrasion resistant
- Function / Protection:
- Anti-corrosive protection for steel
- Excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and heat
- Serves as system primer in coatings with unsaponifiable binders
- Temperature Resistance:
- Substrate: –90°C to 400°C
- Overall system (with suitable topcoat): up to 520°C
Application:
- Methods: Spray, brush, or roller
- Drying: Touch dry in 30 minutes
- Overcoating interval: 12 hours
- Fast drying minimizes downtime in working environments

- Priming structural steel in industrial and construction environments
- Ideal where surface protection against mechanical and thermal stress is critical
