-The BEKOMAT Ex is controlled by an electronic circuit which facilitates systematic, monitored condensate discharge in response to pressure. -A capacitive probe connected to an analysis circuit is located in a sensor tube to determine the condensate level. The condition of the probe is detected by phase comparison measurement.

-If the probe is immersed, the discharge process is initiated after a delay time of approx. 1 second, and a monitoring and alarm circuit is activated. The solenoid valve opens and thus initiates the discharge process for a defined period. At the end of this period the discharge process is terminated and the monitoring and alarm circuit deactivated.
